Peanut Butter w/Hershey’s Kisses – Boyfriend Cookies Recipe

boyfriend-cookies.jpg

Here’s a yummy version of Peanut Butter cookies, with a Hershey’s Kiss right in the middle to satisfy all the chocolate lovers!  Great chocolate recipe to make for a gift, or for yourself.  I call them Boyfriend Cookies because they’d be perfect to snack on while browsing Meg’s Boyfriend of the Week web site.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream margarine and peanut butter.  Add white and brown sugars, cream thoroughly.  Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.  Add flour and baking soda.  Roll dough in balls, then roll in white sugar.  Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes.  Remove from oven and place unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each cookie and press down.  Bake for another 5 minutes or until cookie is golden.  Remove from oven and cool on cooling rack.  Easily doubled (if dough is sticky, add flour – usually 2-4 T).

They turned out fabulous! You might want to add the approximate yield and size of the balls; for me, I made them about an inch in diameter and made a little under four dozen. :) Thanks so much!
