Party Cookies with M&Ms
This is a fun chocolate recipe to make when having a party for kids, and even for those “grown-up” kids!
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-1/2 cups M&Ms, plain
Beat butter and sugars toegther until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup of M&Ms. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press 2 or 3 M&Ms into the top of each cookies. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes 6 dozen.
