English Toffee

Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in pan with large cooking surface. A teflon fry pan or any fry pan is good. Cook at high heat, stirring contstantly until mixture turns light brown. Pour onto greased platters, I use a large cookie sheet. While still hot, cover with chocolate chips and spread over candy. Cool completely before breaking into pieces. This candy does not “keep” well…everyone keeps eating it! LOL
